Have you ever wanted to learn how to code in CSS, JavaScript or HTML? Well you’re in luck because General Assembly has created a new online program that helps teach people how to code through a series of interactive storyline-based tutorials. Dash is convenient in that it works in your web browser. Dash teaches you through various tasks that are similar to those that a coder or developer would encounter. There are various lessons that you’ll learn, like building a personal website, a blog theme, a small business website and eventually a CSS Robot. Don’t know what a CSS Robot is? Well that’s where Dash can assist!
Each Dash project is framed as a task from a fictional client, it also corrects you along the way in case you make a mistake. Once you’ve completed a project for your client, users can customize the website and focus on its design. After the site is beautified, Dash helps you to publish it to the web. By the end of the course, users will have three sites up and running under their name.
