Adobe, one of the world’s leading software companies has come out with a way to keep their popular Flash software usable in a changing world. Flash was purchased by Adobe in 2005 and continues to have a strong presence on the Internet. Many web developers however are pushing for standardization as the web is currently written in many different languages.
Adobe still has a very large following but since HTML5 came out developers have moved on and begun developing with the new platform. Adobe has been in the process of having a toolkit developed in order to keep developers using its platform but allow them to convert their creations over to the newer formats easily once they have been created using Flash.
