Google Glass Full Speed Ahead

We talked about Google Glass many months ago but it appears Google is still pushing forward with their new invention. Google first released a prototype to the public in June this past year. Google Glass showcased its many features, much like your smartphone, Google Glass is designed to host many apps that allow its users hands free operation.

Most notable is their maps app on the Google Glass device. With this app people can search places they want to get and get directions to that place, especially handy when somewhere you are not familiar with. Google Glass the projects the image just above the users normal viewing point so that it is out of the way but not horribly inaccessible.

Google is saying that their new Google Glass while not available to the general public until sometime 2014, is releasing them to a select few for the price of $1500. Google named the early release version “Explorer”.
