Samsung prepped for Mobile World Congress this year in Barcelona.
Like any company poised to release “the next BIG thing,” Samsung is staying quiet about the next generation gadgets they’re going to show off at the MWC. But the media and rumor mills are working overtime predicting a new Galaxy 6 model built from the ground up and possibly a new Snapdragon model. Much like Christmas, we’ll have to wait and see.
But if you would like to join in on the predictions, here are some details to those rumors.
Samsung is expected to showcase the next generation model for their flagship handset, the Galaxy 6. Some of the rumored features and upgrades are a Quad HD, 2560 X 1440 display, IMX240 camera sensor, 5 megapixel front camera. There are some reports Samsung will be dropping the 16GB version and going with 32GB, 64GB and even 128GB internal storage versions of the phone.
Samsung is also expected to showcase its Snapdragon 810 model. Upgrades include: a new Exynos 7420, a 64-bit chip with eight cores, Android’s new 5.0 Lollipop mobile OS, and 3GB of RAM. Samsung also plans to show a LTE model that they’ve designed.
