Collectors beware: Nintendo may be ending some Amiibo figures.
If you have any interest in Amiibo figures, you might want to snatch them up as they become available. Some characters may not be getting a second printing.
There is a rumor going around that Nintendo may be discontinuing several of its figures such as Marth, Wii Fit Trainer, and Villager Amiibos.
According to an article by WIRED, Nintendo has said, “We will aim for certain Amiibo to always be available. These will be for our most popular characters like Mario and Link. Due to shelf space constraints, other figures likely will not return to the market once they have sold through their initial shipment.”
If you’re collecting, you’d better watch those release dates. The initial 12 figures are still out now and Luigi, Zelda, Little Mac, Diddy Kong, Pit, and Captain Falcon are set for release soon.
